Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

This is the personal website of Dr. Vositbek Tursunov, orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist at AKFA Medline, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Dr. Tursunov is responsible for the personal data collected through it (“we” in this policy). Appointment requests are handled by him and by the AKFA Medline staff who arrange his appointments.

We process personal data in line with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Personal Data” (No. ZRU-547 of 2 July 2019).

2. What data we collect

When you send an appointment request, we receive:

• your name;
• your phone number;
• the service you chose, if any;
• your preferred date, if any;
• the language version of the site you used.

Please do not write details about your health in the form. You can discuss them with the doctor at the appointment.

For technical reasons we also briefly handle your IP address (see below). We do not use cookies, web analytics, advertising trackers or user accounts, and we do not collect payment details.

3. Why we use it

• To contact you and arrange your appointment. We do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse. For this, your IP address is kept in the server's memory for 10 minutes and then discarded.

We do not use your data for advertising, do not send newsletters, and never sell or rent it.

4. Who receives your data

• Dr. Tursunov and the AKFA Medline staff who arrange his appointments.
• Telegram: your request is delivered as a message to a Telegram chat used by the doctor and the appointment staff. Telegram stores messages on its own servers.
• Vercel Inc., the company that hosts this website. Like any web host, it briefly records technical data about each visit (IP address, requested page, browser type and time) to run and protect the service.

Telegram and Vercel may store data on servers outside Uzbekistan. We share nothing with anyone else unless the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

• Appointment requests: only as long as needed to arrange and follow up your appointment, and no longer than 12 months. They are then deleted from the Telegram chat.
• IP addresses for spam protection: 10 minutes, in memory only.
• Hosting logs: for the short period set by Vercel's own policy.

6. Your rights

Under the Law “On Personal Data” you can at any time:

• find out whether we process your data and receive a copy of it;
• ask us to correct inaccurate data;
• ask us to delete your data or stop processing it;
• withdraw your consent, which does not affect processing that has already taken place;
• complain to the authorized state body for personal data protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

7. How we protect it

The site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Requests go straight to the Telegram chat and are not stored in a database on the website. Only the people who arrange appointments can read them.

8. Children

If the patient is under 18, a parent or legal guardian should send the request on their behalf.

9. Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, such as AKFA Medline, Medlink.uz, Med24.uz, Yandex Maps and Google Maps. They have their own privacy policies, which apply once you open them.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date.
